Winter 2007: Ideas, Initiative and Involvement
As all of us at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors reflect on the year that’s coming to a close, and look toward next year, we’re struck by the intensity of ideas, initiative and involvement in philanthropic solutions to pressing problems.
Suddenly, it seems possible to many more people that their philanthropy can fund the solution, not just address the problem. That’s emboldening many donors to broaden their horizons – in terms of the issues they will fund, the amount they will commit, and the level of their involvement in the giving.
