Sparked by a visionary strategy to locate and support the most effective and accountable women leaders, Afghan Women Leaders CONNECT invests in local leadership and community-driven development. We evaluate and support talented Afghan women with proven success in delivering health care, education and economic empowerment to Afghan women and children. We also support Afghan women working to implement women’s constitutional rights and defending their human rights. We connect these leaders to international capacity-builders, policymakers, donors, and other development partners, to increase impact.
