Kate Mulligan Senior Relationship Manager, Sponsored Projects
Kate joined the Sponsored Projects & Funds Team in Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors’ New York office in February of 2012. Prior to this, Kate worked in the Donor Services department in RPA’s Los Angeles office for over three years. While in Los Angeles, Kate served as co-chair for Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy’s (EPIP) Los Angeles Chapter for two years. She currently manages several of RPA’s sponsored projects that focus on the environment, education, impact investing, city resiliency and community based art and culture projects. Kate is an active member of RPA’s LGBTQ Outreach Working Group, which was created in 2013.
Prior to joining RPA, Kate worked in both New York and Los Angeles for a finance company that provided loans to small businesses. While there, she held several positions in the areas of client retention and business development. Kate brings to RPA a strong background in business finance and client outreach as well as a personal commitment to community service. Kate is a graduate of Fordham University, College at Lincoln Center, where she received her undergraduate degree in anthropology, one of her many passions. While at Fordham, Kate was an active member of the Global Outreach Program, a cultural immersion and service program. She also has been an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and Midnight Run, a New York-based program providing food and clothing to the homeless.
