Matthew Ubrig Administrative Assistant
Matthew provides support to Mae Hong in Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors’ Chicago office, as well as to the larger Satellite Offices Team, and Kelly Brown, Executive Director of the D5 Coalition, one of RPA’s Sponsored Projects.
Prior to starting his work with RPA in September 2011, Matthew spent four years as the Membership Assistant at WonderLab Museum of Science, Health and Technology, located in Bloomington, Indiana. In this role, he was in charge of helping draft the museum’s Member E-Newsletter, processing all new and renewal memberships, and sending out all member announcements and mailings. In May 2011, Matthew graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in Art History. During his time as an undergraduate, he served as a Resident Assistant for three and a half years. He has also volunteered extensively in the town of Bloomington, participated in various fundraising efforts, and planned numerous programs and events centered around social issues and cultural awareness. It is through these experiences that Matthew has developed a strong interest in issues of diversity, social justice, the nonprofit sector, and now, philanthropy.
