Jennifer KongSenior Philanthropic Advisor
Jennifer engages with a range of individual donors, family foundations, and corporate clients. Based in RPA’s San Francisco office, she helps donors develop and implement effective giving strategies to achieve their philanthropic goals. She has significant experience researching a variety of issue areas, including poverty alleviation, financial inclusion, and social justice.
Prior to joining RPA in 2015, Jennifer managed youth education grants at the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation. In that role, she also oversaw communications and engaged the next generation of family members. Previously, she was the Vice President of Development of an international anti-slavery organization and the Partnerships Director at a shelter for survivors of human trafficking. She has also worked as a book editor.
Jennifer holds a B.A. and an M.A. from Stanford University. She serves on the board of CORA, a domestic violence agency in San Mateo, and is co-chair of the Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy San Francisco chapter. She can often be found chasing the sunset with camera in hand.
