Sueli coordinates and implements strategic grantmaking initiatives. Her accomplishments include program development, administration, and communications for a philanthropic venture supporting more than 50 teams of Bay Area teachers, as well as an analysis of innovative models for corporate philanthropy. Across all of the work in her portfolio, Sueli ensures that clients’ grantmaking is carried out with consideration for equity, compliance, and effectiveness. She has also planned and executed a wide range of events for RPA’s community.
Before joining the advisory services team at RPA, Sueli’s experience included internships at Bloomberg L.P. in the corporate philanthropy unit and with the Prospect Hill Foundation, a small family foundation.
Sueli received her degree from Vassar College. She lived in New York City for several years before joining RPA in 2015 in her native Bay Area. Currently, she serves on the Steering Committee for the San Francisco Bay Area chapter of Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy. She’s hooked on the Sunday crossword.
