Reproductive Health and Women’s Rights Collaborative

Issue Areas

The Reproductive Health and Women’s Rights Collaborative (RHWRC) was created at the end of 2018 with the goal to attract new and collaborative funding that advances reproductive health and women’s rights in the United States.

The founding donors (including the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the JPB Foundation, the Ford Foundation and the Acton Family Giving, among others) share a deep commitment to reproductive justice and gender equity and recognize these as inextricably linked to the broader advancement of women’s rights. RHWRC envisions a world where women and people of all gender identities and backgrounds are celebrated and have their basic, core needs met.

RHWRC’s current strategic focus includes: 1) support for state-based work; 2) legal and judicial strategies; 3) improved access to reproductive health services; and 4) alliance and movement building. Additional information about these priorities will be shared in 2020.
