Juanita T. James joined Fairfield County’s Community Foundation as President & CEO in October, 2011 following a 37-year corporate career. Most recently, Juanita served as chief marketing and communications officer at Pitney Bowes Inc.
Juanita is a member of the Board of Directors of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors and Reading Is Fundamental, and locally has held board leadership roles for Curtain Call, Childcare Learning Center, Stamford Museum and Nature Center, Stamford Symphony and the Ferguson Library. She is also a trustee of Lesley University, and the University of Connecticut, and trustee emerita of Princeton University. Juanita holds a Master’s degree in business policy from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business and earned her Bachelor’s degree in romance languages from Princeton University. She and her husband, Dudley Williams, Jr., have lived in Stamford for 25 years, and have one son, Dudley Williams III.
