Yolanda Arias

Vice President, Corporate Secretary

Yolanda is the Senior Vice President of People and Culuture for Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. She is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to facilitate attracting and developing the best talent, supporting a culture of inclusion, engagement, and organizational and talent effectiveness. In her role as Corporate Secretary, Yolanda plays a key role in the administration of critical corporate matters, keeping the Board informed of best practices with respect to corporate governance, and serving as a resource to board members and officers in understanding and carrying out their fiduciary duties.

She joined the group that later became Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors in January of 2000 and, as part of the founding team, played a key role in the formation of the organization. Prior to Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, Yolanda worked in the healthcare field for more than 13 years.

Yolanda is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), the New York City Human Resource Management (NYCSHRM), the NYCSHRM -HR/NY Diversity & Inclusion Special Interest Group; the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), and the Society for Corporate Governance. She earned a B.S. in Health Services Administration from Lehman College – The City University of New York, and holds certificates in Human Resources Studies from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.  She also completed the certificate programs in Strategic HR, Change Management, and HR in Alignment at the Society of Human Resource Management, and has taken courses in the Certificate in Grantmaking and Foundations program at the New York University’s George H. Heyman, Jr., Center for Philanthropy.
