Survey on Time Horizons in Philanthropy

April 01, 2019

Are you engaged in, or have you considered, a proactive time horizon strategy for your philanthropy? Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors currently is conducting a survey to gain a deeper understanding of how donors view and approach philanthropic time horizons.

The survey is not meant to endorse or advocate for a particular model; its goal is to explore dimensions of foundation decision making with respect to giving models and philanthropic time horizons. The survey will take between 15 and 20 minutes to complete. Click here to take the survey.

We will share the results on this website and more broadly through our organizational partners.

If you have any questions about the study, please contact the Project Director, Roy Ahn, at [email protected] or (312) 759-4068. To learn more about time horizons, read our Setting a Time Horizon guide.

If you are interested in being contacted for future research projects on philanthropy, please contact RPA’s Director of Knowledge Development, Olga Tarasov, at [email protected] or (212) 812-4319.
