Luther M. Ragin, Jr. retired in 2015 as President and CEO of the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN). Prior to the GIIN, he served as Chief Investment Officer of the FB Heron Foundation from 1999 to 2011, where he grew impact investing to over 40 percent of the Foundation’s $300 million endowment while maintaining competitive returns. He previously served as CFO of the Opportunity Finance Network, CFO of Earl G. Graves Ltd., and spent seven years at Chase Manhattan Bank. Luther currently serves on the boards of the McKnight Foundation and the Community Reinvestment Fund USA, and has lectured at the Harvard Kennedy School. He holds a BA and Master of Public Policy from Harvard and is a graduate of Columbia University’s Executive Program in Business Administration.
