Renée Valenti
Grants AdministratorRenée Valenti joins the Grants & Contracts Management team in the role of Grants Administrator. In this role, her work supports the management and implementation of all components of grants processing to grantees. This includes legal and regulatory compliance, collecting and reviewing all grantmaking requirements, data entry, and reporting data to internal and external clients.
Her recent positions in education and philanthropy include teaching visual art at Capital Community College, Quinnipiac University, and at the Mellon Foundation in their Public Knowledge program. At Mellon, she worked in grants and program administration within a program that focused on libraries, archives, and Digital Humanities.
Renée lives in New York and holds a B.F.A. from Pratt Institute and an M.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is a visual artist and has a studio practice also based in New York. In her spare time, she loves a good story in book or film form and going on walks with her dog.
