Maureen Mahoney
Analyst, Operations SpecialistMaureen Mahoney joined Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors in November 2022 as a Senior Associate for Sponsored Projects and Funds.
She comes to RPA with over two years of experience in the fiscal sponsorship space. She previously worked for Arabella Advisors, who oversees a variety of fiscally sponsored 501(c)3 and 501(c)4 projects. She provided operational, programmatic, and financial support to a range of social impact focus areas such as education, election protection, criminal justice reform, food insecurity, and more. Prior to Arabella, she has worked in communications, development, and research positions within the philanthropy sector.
After growing up in the Washington, DC area, Maureen now lives in Chicago. She moved there after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy from University of Michigan. During her coursework, she focused specifically on education and criminal justice policy. In her free time, Maureen enjoys listening to country music, yoga, and cheering on the Washington Commanders.
