Nancy DelgadoGrants Manager
As the Grants Manager, Nancy supports the Sponsored Projects and Funds team by managing and implementing all components of grants processing, both from donors and to grantees. This includes legal and regulatory compliance, collecting and reviewing all grantmaking requirements, data entry, and reporting of data to both internal and external clients.
Before joining Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors in September 2020, Nancy spent 13 years at the Avon Foundation for Women, where she held multiple roles, including Senior Administrative Assistant, Senior Program Administrator, and Manager, Grants and Programs. Throughout her tenure with the Avon Foundation, Nancy was integral to the organization’s operational, logistical, and grantmaking activities. She oversaw U.S. and global grant-making initiatives of the Foundation’s Domestic Violence program, as well as the U.S. Associate Matching Gift Program, U.S. Representative and Associate Scholarships, and the Global Scholarship Program. She has a wealth of experience in grant and programmatic management; and worked closely with the Foundation’s board of directors to ensure soundness of governance policies, responsible budget oversight, and grantmaking compliance; and managing all stages of the grantmaking process, including driving data management collection and quality assurance in the Foundation’s grants management system.
Nancy likes to travel, enjoys reading novels and is especially proud of her two sons and husband of more than 25 years and counting.
