Agile Transformation Programme

To drive financial inclusion, RPA provided Agile training support to NIBSS through EM-PLY (a consulting firm). The programme was focused on NIBSS core processes within projects and teams, to improve software development process, align NIBSS business and development goals, reduce risk and enable quick release of product into market. Attaining and achieving agility within NIBSS was a propeller for the achievement of NIBSS projects which drive and serve as enablers for financial.

The Agile programme was conducted for 15months (January 2020 – March  2021), spanning from assessment of NIBSS teams, agile training to agile coaching and mentoring. The agile transformation programme was piloted sequentially for the following NIBSS teams – Data and Identity; Collections; Core account switching & processing; Core card switching & processing; and Payment.

Through the training, coaching, and mentoring, NIBSS experienced positive changes within and between teams and increased productivity with reaching project timelines.
